People have been trading in commodities since time immemorial, when only barter operated and currencies did not yet exist. Commodity trade is still conducted today, but now it is performed on a far larger scale, on a stock exchange.

A commodity is a basic good used in commerce that is interchangeable with other commodities of the same type; commodities are most often used as inputs in the production of other goods or services.

how it works

Usually large trading companies, individual states and other large institutions are involved in commodities trading, but it is also an interesting means of financial appreciation for individual investors.

You do not trade directly with physical commodities, but with their derivatives, the underlying assets of which are certain commodities. These are fixed-term transactions – we set a fixed date for the sale of the things we buy today. Depending on the future price, we’ll see if we make a profit or loss. Many investors are attracted by the fact that in the first phase they pay only a so-called margin, i.e. a small part of the true value of the commodity.

why invest

Commodities develop completely differently from shares, which is their main advantage. And so if you are not succeeding on the stock market, you have come to the right place.
